Flexible Electronics Open for Applications: Pioneering Innovation in Wearables and Robotics

Prof Lissel is offering a cutting-edge ECIU micro-module titled "Designing Flexible and Stretchable Electronics for Real-World Applications." Open for applications to February 26, 2025!

Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) is offering a cutting-edge micro-module titled "Designing Flexible and Stretchable Electronics for Real-World Applications." Open for applications from January 29 to February 26, 2025, the module will take place from March 11 to April 14, 2025. Participants can earn 1 ECTS credit while gaining vital insights into the future of flexible electronics.

Led by Prof. Franziska Lissel, the module explores the field of soft polymer electronics, a rapidly growing area driving breakthroughs in wearables, healthcare monitoring, flexible displays, and robotics. The course offers a focused introduction to the basics of material science and device engineering, particularly stretchable sensors and advanced devices like organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs).

The course is designed for learners seeking to understand the material properties necessary for these devices, including flexibility and conductivity. Participants will also make informed decisions about device design, considering factors like stability, scalability, and environmental impact. Moreover, the module emphasizes the relevance of these technologies in societal, industrial, and scientific contexts.
