Challenges of the ECIU University

Challenges are learning opportunities and projects where teams solve real, complex problems using the Challenge-based Learning (CBL) format. These projects are driven by BIG IDEAS, such as "Facing Climate Changes with Engineering," and are defined by the students themselves, based on who participates and their competencies, experiences, and ideas. The challenges are free and accessible to all enrolled students at ECIU member universities.

The ECIU Challenges typically focus on the four research priorities of the ECIU network:

  • Circular Economy
  • Energy and Sustainability
  • Resilient Communities
  • Transport and Mobility

In addition, there are also numerous offerings in the areas of entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, and artificial intelligence.
