Sustainable Futures - Event on sustainability in the healthcare sector with Sana on June 27th, 5pm

Engineering to face climate change - What is the role of the healthcare sector? Invitation for all members of TUHH for our event "Sustainable futures - Sustainability at Sana: From Visions to Actions"

The healthcare sector is a major contributor to global emissions. More and more hospitals are therefore increasingly addressing the issue of ecological sustainability.

We are delighted to host the Sustainability Officer at Sana Einkauf & Logistik GmbH, Fiona Walter, at TUHH on 27 June 2024 at 17:00.

During our event „Sustainable Futures - Sustainability at Sana: From Visions to Actions", Fiona will give an exclusive insight into the implementation of sustainability initiatives at one of Germany's leading hospital groups. In addition, we will briefly present the results of the RESOTEX study conducted jointly by Sana and the TUHH working group Data-Driven Innovation, in which we looked at the resource-saving use of surgical textiles. This event offers an exciting opportunity to make direct contact with the relevant players and gain insights into the practical application of sustainability concepts. In a joint dialog with the guests (and yes, we will serve some cold drinks), we also want to talk about further innovative solutions and steps towards a more sustainable future in the healthcare sector.
