The study, "Study Conflicts and Academic Success Factors of Students at Hamburg University of Technology," has been initiated by teachers and students at Hamburg University of Technology. It is financed by tuition fees and carried out under the direction of Professor Winker. The study analyses the central study conflicts and academic success factors and the learning and study strategies of students at Hamburg University of Technology. The study should help to improve the teaching and learning environment. It is part of a wide range of activities and teaching innovations which are currently being conducted at the Hamburg University of Technology, in order to increase attractiveness of engineering studies.
