Institute for Autonomous Cyber-Physical Systems Showcases Innovative Research Projects at UNU Hub Opening

Last Monday marked a significant milestone for the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). With the inauguration of the UNU Hub "Engineering to Face Climate Change," the university became the first European institution to join the United Nations University. This event, attended by international and local partners, was a vibrant showcase of TUHH's cutting-edge research on climate change.

Our Institute proudly presented live demonstrations of two innovative projects to the UN delegation and the public.

The first, Backscatter Communication and Power Transfer through Metal Structures for Structural Health Monitoring, aims to improve the integrity and safety of vital infrastructures through continuous monitoring.

The second project, MOLA: Modular Ocean Lander Architecture for Ocean Research, demonstrates our commitment to pioneering solutions for oceanographic exploration and environmental monitoring. We enjoyed the lively exchanges and the inspiring atmosphere during the event, which reflected the immense potential for impactful collaborations.
