The annual conference “OR 2024” of the German Society for Operations Research (GOR) took place in Munich from September 2 to 6, 2024 with over 700 participants. Our team contributed two presentations:
- Akin Ögrük gave insights into current research results from the HyNEAT project in his presentation “Optimization of Green Hydrogen Supply Chains for Sustainable Aviation: Multi-Period Network Design Model with Seasonal Temporal Resolution”
- In his presentation “Sustainable supply chain network design for lithium-ion batteries using multi-objective optimization”, Felix Westerkamp reported on a new approach to multi-criteria optimization of global supply chains.
The overall theme of this year's conference was “Data, Learning, and Optimization”. Many thanks to the TU Munich team for the excellent organization!
