The “eKabKlima” project began on November 28th, 2023, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK). This research project is carried out by the Institute for Aircraft Production Technology (IFPT) in collaboration with a number of project partners, including the network leader Airbus Operations GmbH, the Institute for Product Development and Design Technology (PKT) at the TUHH, SFS intec GmbH, Premium Aerotec GmbH, Diehl Aviation Gilching GmbH, Diehl Aviation Hamburg GmbH and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

The "eKabKlima" project focuses on robotic perception and environment detection, which will be used in combination with assistance systems for the installation of new large-scale modules in the aircraft fuselage. The overall goal of the TUHH sub-project is the time-efficient introduction of technology by increasing modularization and decoupling in the final assembly line.
