I studied BSc. Civil Engineering in Iran University of Science and Technology. I obtained my MSc. degree in Hydro Science and Engineering from TU Dresden and joined INOWAS junior research group and institute for groundwater management at TU Dresden as a researcher.  In July 2018, I started my PhD at the chair of water resources management and modeling of hydrosystems at TU Berlin and Urban Water Interfaces (UWI) research training group. In April 2022, I joined Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) as a postdoctoral researcher.  The focus of my research has been on small-scale high-resolution integral modelling of groundwater-surface water interaction processes using computational fluid dynamics. In TUHH my research is focused on climate change driven sea level rise and its consequences on groundwater hydrology in global scale as well as for the case of lower Elbe river shoreline.
