Ms. Lina Josefine Görg

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Building, and Environmental Technology from FH Münster in 2015, During my Bachelor studies, I worked on a project related to rural water supply and wastewater management in Albania as part of my practical semester at Kocks Consult GmbH. I participated in a three-month project in Serbia as part of a scholarship program funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). During this time, I worked on the rehabilitation of a eutrophic lake, where we helped to develop a concept for a constructed wetland to improve nutrient removal in wastewater treatment.

My professional experience includes several years working at Arndt IDC GmbH & Co. KG, a consultant company, where I was responsible for the planning and implementation of various projects in the fields of traffic planning and urban water management. During my time at Bezirksamt Hamburg Mitte, I was responsible for the implementation of a GIS-based Asset management system for the district’s water related infrastructure.

Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in water and environmental engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg, with a specialization in water management. In my Master’s thesis, I am investigating the impact of increasing urbanization and surface sealing on the microclimate and urban water cycle.
