Ms. Bahareh Joharinad
I graduated from Amirkabir University of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering in 2011. After working as a geotechnical instrumentation engineer for over 7 years, I decided to change my field of expertise and started my Master's programme in Environmental Engineering, Science and Management at Istanbul Technical University. Currently, I am working on my master thesis at the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics at the Hamburg University of Technology as part of the Erasmus exchange programme. My research topic focuses on investigating the effect of microplastics on soil processes and characteristics.
In addition to my main education programme, I have participated in various training programmes at renowned institutions such as Zurich University of Applied Sciences, SDG Academy and TÜV SÜD. These experiences have helped me to develop my knowledge of sustainability measurements, sustainable financing and environmental management systems.
