Mr. Mohamoud Osman

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Malaya in 2021,
where I developed a passion for integrating modern technology with engineering to solve
complex environmental challenges. I became particularly interested in applying artificial
intelligence, remote sensing, and GIS techniques to address issues in hydrology, environmental protection, and water resource management.

For my Master's degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Padua, I had the opportunity to conduct my thesis in collaboration with the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics (GHI) at Hamburg University of Technology through the Erasmus+ Studies program. My research focused on investigating the impact of land use and land cover changes on the land surface energy balance across Europe. The goal of this project was to develop a framework for quantifying the effects of these changes on surface energy components and temperature, offering valuable insights to enhance climate impact assessments and support effective climate mitigation strategies.
